Nevertheless, feminist bureaucrats see their work as urgent, essential and a necessary contribution to global efforts to achieve women’s rights. Great read on how to act as an activist in a hostile environment to push change from the inside, in this case as a gender responsible in a development bureaucracy, hence a feminist in a patriarchal hierarchy. The book is full of reflections and inspiring examples.
