The "ORI Introduction to the Responsible Conduct of Research" draws together in a single, easy-to-read book the fundamentals of responsible research. Readers are guided through the complex world of regulations and best practices, from initial design through to publication. Good intro to research ethics basics, but dry dry dry reading.

Excellent brief introduction to basic aspects of science ethics and guidelines for responsible behaviour, especially in natural and biomedical sciences. Helpful case studies and suggestions for further reading, though the latter need some updating. Every graduate student, postdoc and senior should read this book and keep it on his or her shelf for consulting.
