The Book of Colossians is a letter from Paul the Apostle to citizens of the city of Colossae. It forms Paul's most eloquent statement concerning the person and work of Jesus Christ. Separately, I am thinking about how Paul become Paul the Apostle and became the author of 14 of the 27 books of the New Testament. One can argue that Paul is the greatest authority on Christian theology after Jesus, himself. Okay, that might be a little bit of an exaggeration.

One very interesting aspect of Colossians, is Paul's focus on sexual immorality and his view that any sexual activity outside a marriage that is between one man and one woman is immoral. The world of Christianity faces the challenge of that subject even up to this very day.
