Ravaged By the Raptor

October 1, 2018poor paola. on her planet, it is customary for the eldest child to become the representative of the family and go to college, getting to leave home and escape into the wide world. unfortunately, she must not have applied herself enough, because her younger brother got the better grades, and was chosen to go instead, leaving paola stuck on the old farm, mucking out animal stalls and protecting the livestock from… dinosaurs. yep. dinosaurs.
paola had always assumed she would be getting out, so she never spent much time doing the dirty work, and now she is wicked pissed. she gets in a fight with her brother, mocking his lack of sexual experience and his looks, and he returns the favor with these fighting words:
"Go fuck a raptor," he retorted, retreating to the boys bedroom.
so, one day, after crappy sex with her human lover, paola goes out to feed the chickens but oh noes!
all the chickens have been eated! even worse, the predator is still in the henhouse. DID YOU GUESS IT WAS A DINOSAUR???
and then paola "unwillingly" does what her brother has suggested she do.
On her hands and knees in the dirt, with a raptor trying to mount her she felt sexually animalistic herself. Paola maintained her position deciding she would let the dinosaur dictate the course of events. After all, she could always say she was too frightened to move or attempt an escape given the raptor's savage reputation. In truth was she was keen to see where it would go.

well, it's not like we can't relate, right? we have all planned our exits in our minds, just not usually with a dinosaur.

What was I thinking?!
Had some serious doubts before adding this to my "Read", but hey, one closer to the 2015 Challenge count, amirite?
Paid $1.22 for this. I regret everything.
Since I first noticed the entire collection of Christie Sim's literature, which such classics as "Taken by the T-Rex" or "Ravished by the Triceratops", I have been curious as hell. And a little bit freaked out. Okay... HELLUVA freaked out.
But tonight I finally managed to see what all this batshit crazy stuff is about. And it was horrible. You thought "50 shades" was bad? Try this!
I will go cry myself to sleep now.

Am I getting too old for mere sensationalism and bawdiness to entertain me any longer? I hope that's not the case. My internet browsing history will, at least, argue that it's not ME.
Seriously, this should have been either pretty hot, kinda funny, or both. It was neither. This chick doesn't like farming. She doesn't like the way her semi-boyfriend fucks her. So when she find an alien velociraptor in the chicken coop, she lets it fuck her amongst the feathery corpses of hens. Like you do.
But there was no sexiness to it. No humor. Nothing but this stupid bitch getting horny for reptilian wang when she should have been fearing for her life.

In reading the news regarding the re-casting of Christian Grey in the 50 Shades of Gray movie, I came across an article (on MTV.com I believe) about other erotic books to read while awaiting the movie to come out that listed this series. I thought to myself "Really, How is that possible. OMG my curiousity has been peaked. I need to figure this out." So I picked up this book (more like short story) and OMFG WHAT DID I READ! Plot is terrible (but really what did you expect), sex scene was ridiculous and graphic (VERY VERY GRAPHIC), so many grammatical/formatting/typographical errors. Over all this was horrible, HORRIBLY AWESOME! I lol'd and blushed and couldn't stop myself from say WTF did I just read, so I bought the next one, and the next one, and the next one, 7 dinosaur erotica "books" in total. They are terrible, hysterical, graphic, and amazing all in one. I branched out to the author's Dragon and Werewolf stories, those are just terrible. I'm almost ashamed to say I enjoyed these, but I did, and I actually am ashamed. I don't recommend to anyone, that would be way to embarrassing. I didn't even want to list them, but I'm trying to track everything I read. So DON'T READ THIS BOOK! AND DON'T SEARCH MY READ LIST AND SEE HOW MANY OF THEM I'VE ACTUALLY READ!

In case you haven't picked up on it, Christie Sims and Alara Branwen have made a name for themselves by writing 'monster erotica'. After having stumbled unto a second article talking about them I just had to take a bite out of their collection.
So my impressions... we'll it isn't as bad as I had expected, not that it's hard to top those.
Good story, good world building and for a novella at least the female main character had some depth to her, even if she was a bit too stereotypical for my taste.
...and to squeeze in a twist at the end was a clear plus.
