Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 Cookbook contains ample of information Microsoft Dynamics CRM administrator and customizer. It covers breath of topics from installation of Dynamics
CRM in multi-server configuration to launching dialogs programmatically. The book covers all the major areas (installation, securing using SSL, scaling using multiple roles, data import, security roles, duplicate detection, auditing, solution management, ribbon customization, form customization etc.) of Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

I would recommend to go through chapter "Administering Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011" even though there is exhaustive implementation guide available.

This book helps in grasping the major areas of Dynamics CRM which would help in making correct decision in Microsoft Dynamics CRM implementation.

If you are experienced Microsoft Dynamics CRM then you might chapter "Entity Customization" overly familiar but it definitely acts as a refresher for the topic.

I hope all the readers of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 Cookbook would have many "Aha!" moments and find the work aligned with enthusiasm and energy.

I am looking forward for update to the this book for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 :-)

Like other cookbooks from Packt this one has several chapters broken down into easily digestible recipes which are easy to follow and dip in and out of at need.

The book is thorough in it's coverage and includes many useful screenshots which aid in following recipes for those who are new to Dynamics CRM.

This book is extremely useful to anyone who works with Dynamics CRM 2011 as either a user or as a consultant. The book takes us through a broad and comprehensive view of the platform and including also many aids that are not found anywhere else.
