I picked up this book thinking it was "The Count of Monte Cristo" when instead it was an erotically enhanced "Wild and Wanton Edition Volume I" version of Monte Cristo. What is that? Looking closely, the authors are "Monica Corwin and Alexander Dumas". It appears to be the original English translation with added erotic text written by Monica Corwin. I have to be honest, when I was reading this, I was thinking "Wow, I can't imagine Dumas writing this!". When I got to chapter 25, I realized there would have to be more of this story. I had read The Three Musketeers and really loved that so I looked for all of Dumas collected works so I could then read more of his adventures. This is when I discovered that the original (not enhanced) version of The Count of Monte Cristo has 117 chapters, not 26 chapters.

So the joke is on me. Who sanctioned this crap? Here Corwin corrupts Dumas work with sexual escapades sprinkled in and puts her name first! I didn't do a one for one comparison for all chapters but, the words appear to be exactly the same except for these sex scenes. If you're horny and want to get aroused, then by all means this is for you, however, if you want just the adventure, stick to the original text.
