A review and discussion in the context of Newfoundland WWII history can be found at http://planecrashgirl.blogspot.ca/201.... I'll admit, I don't really discuss the first part of the book, the part that takes place in Camp Rimini and mostly covers training the sled dogs and men. My interest was his time in Newfoundland.
