The paragraph descriptions of this collection of New England wildflowers is packed full of information, including size, common growing environments, and distinguishing characteristics. I was disappointed with illustrations, however, which didn't help me at all. Most flowers have a single drawing to with the description and it just wasn't enough to help out this beginner.
