This is a cute story about a crusade embarked upon by a kid frightened by the homework goblin. The illustrations are hand drawn for that classic storybook feel and the story itself gives me that nostalgic feeling of having been a kid with a wild imagination and while entering into the world of responsibilities. I think it does a great job of relating to kids and telling the story from the boy's perspective.
It also works to encourage children to be diligent and take pride in their work at a most impressionable age.
