Happy Birthday to Sarah! Turning twenty-six and divorcing Brandon – her high school sweetheart – on the same day. With all of her plans for the future out the window, she tries her best to be content in a small apartment with her two cats. As the months go by her best friends, Tanya and Jenny, start setting her up on blind dates. After enough bad experiences Sarah refuses to let either of them pick a man for her again. When Jenny sees an ad from a local travel agency – a chance to win a ten-day trip on a single’s cruise – without thinking, or asking, she enters Sarah's name. Now Sarah is the winner of something she doesn’t want. With an enormous amount of pressure from her friends to go and nothing to lose, she packs her bags. The night of her twenty-seventh Birthday she meets Gabriel, a man she learns has as much baggage as she does. They make a promise to help each other let go of the past and it doesn’t take long before she lets him into her bed and her heart. Women start showing up dead, sad accidents may be to blame but Sarah finds out that some of the crew doesn’t think that is the case. The scary part is that they bare a striking resemblance to her. Sarah really gets worried when she is the person to uncover the third body and it is defiantly no accident after the security camera recording is looked at. The number of dead women keeps rising and to make matters worse the ship has stopped moving – broken-down in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Every time a woman is murdered Gabriel’s whereabouts are in question. Sarah finds herself hopelessly lost at sea with a killer. She doesn’t want to believe it but could it be the man she has fallen madly in love with is a killer? Could she be the next to die?

This is the second book I have read by this author, and I must say, she has made a fan out of me. Each book has a great storyline, great characters, and I could relate a little to each one.
Sarah never imagined that she would be celebrating her twenty- sixth birthday by divorcing her high school sweetheart. Needless to say, she was on a whirlwind of emotions. Luckily, she has 2 best friends that where there to help her get past this big obstacle in her life. After a few months, the girls decided that Sarah needed to "get back out there" and started setting her up on blind dates. UGH! I can so relate...divorce sucks, but blind dates suck even more. After several bad dates, no shows, complete jerks, etc, Sarah finally gets set up with a guy that actually makes it past the first date. A couple of dates later....Sarah starts seeing some red flags. She finds out a little too late that this guy is way more than a jerk. Now, this is where all the OMG stuff really starts!!! But you will have to read that for yourself.
Time passes, and Sarah's next birthday is approaching. Jenny, one of her besties, decides to enter Sarah into a contest for a singles cruise, of course not discussing it with Sarah first. Sarah is not very happy about it at all, especially when she finds out she wins. Sarah decides to go along on the cruise. After arriving and getting settled, she realizes that it might not be so bad. She meets a few guys, a creep and a pretty cool guy, and then there is the guy that she thinks might just be "the one." Just when she thinks things are starting to look up, women starting popping up dead on the ship, and the real humdinger is that the women kinda resemble Sarah. Oh, and did I mention that the ship ends up breaking down way out in the middle of now where? Oh, yeah...it gets better!!! Now the body count is growing, and Sarah is on a mission to find out who the killer is. It could be anyone, but somethings are starting to point towards the guys she has had contact with, yep, including Mr. Maybe Right! Sarah's life might just depend on finding the killer. Who knows, she could be next.
I could go on and on about this book, but it is one you have to read for yourself. You are gonna have to now, because I didn't even get to the really good stuff! A must read!
A.N. Busch is a master story teller who has out did her self again. I absolutely loved this book because it had suspense, it was full of action and a good romance to go along with it. You will laugh, cry, and it will keep you on the edge of your seat the entire time. A.N. Busch is a brilliant author that knows exactly what to write to keep you completely glued to the pages of a book, she truly out did herself which of course I expected nothing less from an amazing author who could write a book like Tempting Fate. This book was not only well written but it flowed together beautifully. Of course I cant forget the characters Sarah and Gabriel who I absolutely fell madly in love with. If you truly want a book that will keep you absolutely glued to the pages, then find a nice comfy spot and prepare yourself for an amazing ride because you will not regret it. I am looking forward to her next masterpiece because I have no doubt it will be just as good or better, I am never disappointed.

Once again A. N. Busch hits a home run with her latest book, Love on a Killer Cruise!!! I fell in love with her writing style when I read Tempting Fate. I expected the same warm innocence that TF had when I started LoaKC but I found out quickly how wrong I was. LoaKC is edgy, funny, and an on of the edge of your seat ride. Being recently divorced, I found myself laughing out loud as Sarah when through the craziness of being new to the dating scene. It didn't take long to find myself say, "OMG, I did not see that coming!" I love that it was anything but predictable. LoaKC is a page turner that I couldn't put down. Get comfy and enjoy to rough ride of divorce, dating, and, for some, demise. Can wait to see what A. N. has in store for her next book!
This book was a real page turner. Just what I wanted! From the moment I picked it up until I put it down (in only 3 days) I was engrossed in this wonderful read. A.N. Busch knows how to keep your attention from start to finish. A.N. Busch's style of writing can really make you feel that you are right there with the characters and experiencing what they exeperience. I enjoyed this book and an looking forward to her next!
Four and a half stars for Love on a Killer Cruise by A.N. Busch! I took one half star away because it took awhile for us to get on the cruise ship - but once we did, it became a suspenseful page turner until the end when the killer is revealed.
It's our heroine, Sarah's birthday and she spends it in court finalizing her divorce. Thanks to her friends, she then has a series of disastrous blind dates - with one that was downright frightening. I understand why Ms. Busch needed to show us her dating journey with these men until the cruise because it shaped her in many ways.
Sarah wins a singles cruise that her friends entered her in and decides to go. Soon after boarding, the bodies start piling up. It then becomes an edge of your seat, cat and mouse game to find the killer of young girls who look similar to Sarah. Could it be her new, handsome love interest Gabriel, who never seems to have an alibi, or someone from her past with a grudge, or one of the many other interesting characters aboard ship? You'll have to read it to find out. The story is full of twists and turns and the climax and ending is right on.
If you like a good romance/mystery, then pick up Love on Killer Cruise.
