Provides a good road map for any group (PLC or not) looking to work their way through the Common Core. Argues that teachers should be a central part of unwrapping the standards and mapping curriculum. Does seem to get a little bogged down in the middle of the process, right around the scaling and leveling step- and is perhaps a little too optimistic in implying timeframes of the length of the work. However, effectively combines PLCs and RTI principles with the Common Core and can serve as a much needed model for any group looking for more concrete guidance for how to approach the work.
