Job vs Work

This book distinguishes how a person can either do a job or do work that is your divine assignment. We all have to have a job to support our needs but how many of us do what God has preordained for us to do?

This book starts out with a statistic about how 70% of people who work are disgruntled with their jobs which leads to a less than fulfilling life. It then goes on to explain in biblical terms how we all were made to do something specific for God before we were even born. Certain talents to be used to edify and bring people closer to Jesus.

Although this book was a bit harder to understand than the other book I had read, it still had great points and a lot of "Aha" moments for me. When he said "For instance, Jesus' work was given to Him by His Father before he was born by the Virgin Mary. His task was to accomplish redemption for man on the Cross" the rest of the book started making more sense for me and made me realize that I do have a purpose while I am on earth. I just need to find it and do it.

Overall a very good book with a great core value. It leans heavily on biblical truths and is written with a deep level of love for God.
