It’s been six years since that fateful day when Shane left Rebecca. Having lost the love of her life, Rebecca moved on, finding a life with Parker. Although it wasn’t the life she’d planned, and her marriage was less than ideal, she had made a life for her daughter. Parker was there for her when she needed someone and although she appreciated his continued support in her and her daughter’s life, she couldn’t seem to forget the man who had always had her heart. She assumed, over time, the pain would lessen, but how can she forget him, when she looks into his daughter’s eyes every day and dreams of him every night?

I thought this novel was just as good as the first. It was a lovely two parter that was pretty emotional. Overall I was impressed with this author.

How could he do such a thing to his oldest child!!! The lies and years of deceit don't stop until lives are in danger. So glad for the happy beginning if forever for Rebecca and Shane

I enjoyed this book more than the first. Trigger warning....there is cheating. I am glad everything got sorted out; even if it was in the last few pages.
