Interceptions by Stacy Robinson is the tale of a college romance gone bad when Stefanie Pointer relinquishes her identity to her boyfriend Ricky powers. With love and the promise of becoming Ricky's wife as the excuse, she proceeds to give up her own dreams, friendships, and ambitions in exchange for the desires of her mate. Ultimately, Ricky, who becomes a professional athlete, overwhelms Stefanie with his expectations, and they both realize the love they proclaim may not be worth the effort to keep it.
The story with its modern twist and turns manages to keep your interest as the reader is led to dissect the relationship between Stefanie and Ricky. The characters are very realistic and its detailed account of the professional sports industry is quite accurate. It ends with a nice message also and that is to "Be true to yourself."
