And one becomes two,
Power is true

Holding the Link (Prophecy Book Two) is the second in the long-awaited Prophecy Series. While Linked was a novella, Holding the Link is a full-length novel at approximately 70,000 words. While this book can be read as a stand-alone, I'd suggest reading book one first.

I write books. I've always been a writer. I know it's cliche but I started writing almost as soon as I learned to read. I wrote a play for school--in the third grade--that they put on for Christmas that year. I've never quite forgiven my sister for getting married that night. I missed my own production!

I've worked in various fields throughout my career. I was a cop, EMT, photographer, journalist, high school English teacher for special education, and most recently, a published author.

I enjoy using the skills I've learned in those jobs in my writing. A little less research is needed when I write books with police or medical information.

I love to hear from readers and other writers. I can be reached on Twitter at @HopeWelsh and my blog at http://hopewelsh.blogspot.com or my website at http://hopewelsh.com

Authors write because they have a story to tell. They publish to tell you their story. Please be sure to leave a review when you read a book you enjoy. We do appreciate it, I promise.

I really enjoyed this book Holding the Link, I love Lana and Cole's story. This book is longer than the first book Linked, which I was very happy about. There is so much happening in this book that you don't want to put it down because you want to see what happens next. I love how the book ended with Lana and Cole, but also left it open for another book. I would love another book about these characters and how they deal with baby Ryan and the things he gets into as a baby and/or toddler. This book has romance, paranormal, and suspense. Hope Welsh did a great job with this book!!

A Review copy was provided to me in exchange for a fair and honest review. The free book held no determination on my personal review.

I got this book from the author, free of cost, in exchange for an honest review from my side.

Firstly I would like to thank Hope Welsh, author of Holding the Link for giving me this opportunity of reading and reviewing this fabulous book.

Wow! What a great sequel and I loved this one more than the first one. Here Lana developed immensely and Cole is back with his humorous and sexy comments but is the ancient and evil shape-shifter Connan back again? Didn't they defeat him the first time?

The mystery kept me hooked in and I enjoyed the action scenes once again. The most beautiful part of the story is that Lana is pregnant and the worst is that she thinks that the grave dangers have solely contributed towards their unison and nothing else have a role here, not even their love. Will she overcome this feeling?

A lot goes on in this book and the readers got a more awesome plot and the dangers are far more threatening this time, so buckle up guys and enter this whirlwind ride. The twists were great to enjoy and the steamy scenes made me go all crazy, it’s exotic!!!

I really loved both the books and the Happy Ever After ending made it an awesome book. I want another book in this series just like so many other fans which should take us into the life of Lana and Cole’s child!!! A great read and I would like to recommend it to ya all but keep in mind that this books is for adults ( 18+). Enjoy reading!!!

This is the sequel to Linked. I gave it three stars here because, though 'I liked it' (which is what 3 goodreads stars mean), it was missing all of the things I really enjoyed from the first one. Linked had action from the very beginning and was filled with mystery. The bad guy was an ominous presence throughout the book. In this one, Holding the Link, Lana gets some threatening calls and then kidnapped. Between that and after she's back, there is a whole lot of talk about this big plan that they had that was kept very mysterious so I was looking forward to a complex climax and drawn out battle. I didn't get what I was looking for. My complaints about this one are the same as the ones I had for Linked. There were some good spicy sex scenes, but everything around it felt a little juvenile. The resolutions seemed too simple for my tastes.
These are my personal opinions. You might feel very different about Holding the Link. It is a paranormal romance, heavy on the romance part where they are constantly thinking about how much the other means to them yet being frightened of how quickly their love has grown. That does it for a lot of people.

Holding The Link is the sequel to Linked. As always turns true with sequels, I did prefer the original to this one, but I definitely wasn't disappointed. The story came to a wonderful happily-ever-after ending, after a lot of turmoil, with plot twists and turns all along the way. The way that the book ending kind of left me hoping that there will be just one more book, based around Lana and Cole's son. I'm intrigued over how he will grow up, being what he is and having the parents that he has. All in all, however, I was very pleased with this book. I really couldn't put it down because from the very start of the book, I was pulled into the story. It picks up where the last book left off,and it sufficiently tied up all of the loose ends. The steamy scenes were a huge bonus, of course. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good romance, paranormal romance, or a happily-ever-after ending. It does have explicit scenes and some mild foul language, so I would not recommend this book to anyone under the age of eighteen.

I actually think that this book was more entertaining than the first one. Cole he's still well Cole, "you don't really think I'd leave you alone, do you?" he demanded. "Come on darlin'. You know me better than that." He is still in love with Lana although they've only been together a few days but I guess shifters have a different feeling time span type thing (I have no idea what I'm trying to say, well I do it just doesn't come out right.) "so, talk to me. What do you want to know? We know we both like to read. We both like to watch old movies. We're sure as hell compatible in bed. Just talk to me." Yes being compatible in bed is very important don't want a sucky partner for the rest of your life. Cole is still just as playful as he was in book one, maybe even more so now that Lana and him are more comfortable around each other, "I don't think so," he growled and gave her bottom a pinch. "Behave, young lady." And I must say I was truly pleased with the ending because wait for it... NO CLIFFHANGER! YAY!

I think I loved Holding the Link much more than the first book if thats possible. They were both amazing! This time we get to learn more about the prophecy that was foretold, we also get to meet knew characters. I really hope there is more to this series, even if its a spin off using the other characters like Seth, Jim or even Ryan. There was so much more drama and action in this story that it kept you on your toes straight from the start. Never a dull moment.

I loved to see that chivalry isn't gone, Cole is so sweet and respectful but that doesnt mean that he's boring, he's got all the passion and desire to go along with it especially when it comes to Lana. However, Lana is still stubborn as can be and tries to put tension in the relationship where its not needed. If thats not enough The Evil One is back to stir things up some more and he's not the only one. Fortunately for Lana and Cole they have some new friends on there sides that are all too familiar with The Evil One and his weaknesses.

The Prophecy Fulfilled

This series must be read in order. The first book is Linked. I can't wait to read the next one!

I love this series :) If I hadn't read it in order I would have been totally lost. I really enjoyed this book (though I wanted to kick Lana a few times) I wasn't at all disappointed in the storyline as it flowed well from the first book seamlessly :) A lot of times second books lose the momentum of the first but that was not the case here at all. Cole and Lana are great characters and I love how they interact.... No matter what it is always them against the world :) Insurmountable odds are beatable only because the strength of two becoming one is stronger than anything!

***This series is suitable for adult readers who enjoy paranormal romance with a dash of Fate and a bit of horror :)

This book was full of intrigue and fun events. I felt a little bit lost during parts of the books but I think that was more because I didn't have time to read the first book before this book. I thought the book was very well written and laid out. There was a bunch of action and I really got into the book after a while.

I don't know how I feel about Cole...he seemed a little bit overbearing and overprotective. I get his reasons for being that way but it still bugged me. Lana is an awesome character...she is so free and independent. I love that they shift into Tigers as that is one of my all time favorite animals!

I suggest you read book one first if you read this book because I think I would have liked this book a whole lot more if I had had the time.

Holding the Link by Hope Welsh is the sequel to Linked. Holding the Link is the continuation of the story in Linked so you definitely should read Linked first. Holding the Link is an absolute great sequel. A long read full of action, suspense, plot twists, and romance. I loved the ending and thought this sequel did a great job of wrapping up all the plot twists. Definitely Recommend!!!

I read that faster than I thought. it was kind of anticlimactic, but the story line was great. Romance was better :-). I think there should be a 3rd book, continuing the prophecy with their son as a teen...like a YA segue

GREAT READ!

I've enjoyed this series very much. It has everything that a book should have to tell a good story. I can feel the call of a final story in this last book. I hope you feel compelled to complete a trilogy. I'll be looking for it.
