Working Would be Great if it Weren't for Managers: Thoughts on Business, Life, and Slackers

Rate this book
I originally started writing this book about ten years ago. During my corporate journey, I started recording all of the insane things I had observed. I recorded the behavior of co-workers, managers, and even CEOs, and a pattern started forming, people are really screwed up (but you already knew that). My book discusses many of the events that have shaped and formed my opinion on American business. I also tell my story of working in the family business, growing up in Indiana, and finally my observations on slackers at home and at work. I think you will be able to relate and while reading, start thinking about your own career and the many obstacles and pathetic managers you have had to suffer under. Hopefully you'll come away with a better understanding on how we should conduct business, and most of all, how we should treat others, especially subordinates. It's really summed up by the "Golden Rule;" Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. With this you cannot go wrong. Character and Integrity should rule the day and rule our lives. Thank you for purchasing my book. I do believe you will enjoy reading it.
