✔We're going to install the packs for our particular cortex microcontroller. So I'm going to click over here. This is the pack installer. Some of you may already have the packs installed for your board. So if you already have the packs installed for your board. Whether you're using the STM 32 board or the NXP board or the Texas Instrument board if you already have the parks for that particular board installed. ✔This is for those who are using that particular board for the first time with Keil uVision. So you need to install pas fckor the board. So this the pack installer, it's opened and I'm going to expand this and I'm going to start by searching the name of my microcontroller. I've got STM 32 F411VET so I can expand here and already have the packs installed. So over here it says up to date it says DFP up to date meaning I already have all of this installed. If you do not have it installed you would see install over here. For instance I don't have this utility installed, hence I can click here to install. ✔But if you do not have the packs for STM32F4 installed you would see installed by this underscore DFP word. Right. So this is for STM32 Now let's install the pack for the next board. For those of you who have the F RTM hyphen K L 2 5 C which is the freedom board. KL 0 2 5 C or you need to do is come to the next point. Over here click this plus sign and then scroll down to K L X X should be somewhere down here okay. So we come over here to to the K L X X series and over here once you click it, you can install this. ✔The DFP what you're looking for is the DFP. So you can install this by clicking here to install but depending on the version of Keil uVision you have, some of these packs here might say deprecated. You might see this highlighted in color red. You might see this red and when you come here to install, you might see the word deprecated there. If that's the case you can install this older version so you click the plus sign if the install here is inactive, you just click the plus sign and then install what is underneath here. Sometimes it says deprecated here. So if you have a Keil uVision version that displays deprecated for this particular pack.
