The book contains two mystery novellas, both written for juvenile readers, and both very strong in terms of plot devices (although for long-term followers of mystery fiction like us the solutions were obvious) and information-content. I especially liked the fact that the author didn't go for the patronising tone which often gets adopted by readers who think they are doing the young readers a favour by writing for them. Rather he followed a tight & pacy style that suits the modern readers. Recommended.
