This was a great book to show the power of jQuery mobile and how to leverage that power to make some great mobile web apps. The book covers everything from client/owner - dev relationships to useful tools to get the job done effectively and efficiently, even some outside of jQuery that are just generally useful. There are even some great ideas for possible business proposals in there. You could read this book and may be, just maybe, get rich :) Shane does a great job teaching, demonstrating and keeping the reader engaged with his wit.
Note: This book will not teach you jQuery Mobile i.e. how to use all of the data attributes, or how the data attributes affect the page design, but it does show you how to tackle many of the challenges you might expect to see during the course of your development career. It's one I'll keep handy for when I think, Shane did something like this in his book...

Awesome book to get into jQuery Mobile and to start to develop your applications with this mobile framework.
The book treats the wide tools and good enhancements of the new web technology as HTML5 and tips of how to craft a web site that run in all the devices and desktop browsers as well.
On the other hand the publisher of the book PacktPub provide more value to the book ensuring the quality of the contents and extras as it has with all its books.

A great beginner to intermediate level book for anyone wanting to get into jQuery Mobile. It was written from the trenches of experience with all the lessons learned and points scattered throughout. It is probably the perfect book for someone looking to do entrepreneurial mobile work because it focuses on a variety of industries and associated technologies.
