I did quite enjoy this book. I picked it up at my son's Scholastic book fair for myself. The book was an extremely fast read, and quite enjoyable. However, that being said, I thought that parts of the book were rushed. I know, usually I say that they're overly long, with lots of extra fluff - I thought that in this book all of the fluff had been removed, and that it left something to be desired. More back story into the accident and how she saved the young soldiers life would have been nice, through a flashback or a dream sequence. It was an extremely fast read, finished in about 2 hours. Overall, I really enjoyed the concept and the realism of the setting, just wish more back story had been included in the book. But, well worth the read.
