Ever So Bonnie a Vampire

Rate this book

Third in the Dancing Vampires series.

Calin has fantasized about Ever’s warm, curvaceous body since dancing with the vampiric fey woman a year ago. When they meet again, he wastes no time in claiming and capturing her. Once the sun rises, Ever can’t leave the earthly realm and is bound by fey lore to Calin. His lovemaking excites her like no fey man’s ever has, but she’s consumed by the vow she made to her sisters—that she would never leave them for a mortal. Fighting her feelings for Calin, Ever seeks help from goddess Morrigan.

The goddess might like to claim the handsome mortal for herself, so she frees Ever to return underhill. It isn’t until Ever is back with her sisters that she realizes her heart is still held captive by Calin. But Calin has spurned a goddess’s attentions…and now Morrigan’s lust has turned to vengeance.

Cornelia Amiri was introduced through books to the woman who became her favorite historical character, Boudica. The Celtic Warrior Queen made her start writing professionally. Cornelia loves history and in reading a book about the dark ages, she came across the rebel queen, who inspired Cornelia so much, she started jotting down notes, but they were fiction, visions of her involved in the Boudica revolt. Before Cornelia knew it, she’d accidentally written a rough draft for a novel. And she’s been writing books on purpose ever since. Drawing on her love of a happy ending, Cornelia has written over 40 published romance books.

Now, for the more mundane stuff — Cornelia Amiri and her muse, Severus the Cat, live amid the hustle and bustle of sultry Houston, Texas. When not writing, Cornelia loves to read, watch movies, and attend comic cons. She is currently working on a sequel to Rare Finds and a sequel to The Brass Octopus, which she is renaming and republishing as The Librarian and the Rake.

I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.

Again Cornelia Amiri does an outstanding job with so few pages. You find yourself envisioning the places, feeling like the characters are long lost friends. I (just like with the other stories) found myself laughing at the parents banter. The author has found a way to make short stories feel like you are watching a two hour movie. Love this series and hope there is more coming.

I've been reading the books in this series and look forward to each new installment. The stories are hot and short enough I can read them in one night. They have a fantastic setting that sticks with you long after you finish reading.
Ever So Bonnie a Vampire is a forbidden romance between Ever and Calin, a fey vampire and a human. The story builds on a heated dance between the two of them a year ago that neither one forgot. After a steamy night together, it's even more difficult to ignore the attraction.
I greatly enjoyed this story and can't wait to read the next one in the series. A very hot romance and very satisfying read!
