I compared the Advent reflections to the reflections in the Sacred Space book that covers the whole year and chose which reflection I'd like to do. Ultimately, I ended up reading the year book more than the Advent book, so I didn't try the Lent book.
It's all a matter of which way you'd like to reflect and pray through the seasons. The year book focuses on the scripture of the day like the rest of the year, while the seasonal books focus on the scripture in light of the season, hence they are more seasonally focused.
The seasonal books are excellent, with the same quality we find in the yearly book. I highly recommend both.

I wish I had seen the personal advent retreat at the back before I started. I'll remember to look for it in the Lenten book.
