This is going to change everything. I started this last night, and today stayed home from work, under the sheets with a flashlight, shades drawn, air conditioner going full blast. Upon completion, I symbolically threw open the windows and looked upon a New Heaven and a New Earth...I think I know precisely what I'm going to do with my life from this point on. Wow.
Literally, I feel deeply changed, like someone's reached inside me and flipped a switch from magic to more magic. Like I've joined something, a community of the new:
Where have you come from? From the world of the first chosen.
Whither do you want to go? To the inmost sanctum.
What do you seek there? He who is, who was, and who shall always be.
What inspires you? The light, which lives in me and is now ablaze in me.
You ask: does it sound better in the original German? Of course it sounds better in the original German:
Wo kamen Sie her? Aus der Welt der ersten Auserwählten.
Wohin wollen Sie? In das Allerheiligste.
Wen suchen Sie da? Den, der da ist, der da war, und der da ewig seyn wird.
Was erleuchtet Sie? Das Licht, das in mir wohnt, und nun angezündet ist.
