This is a story of a uber wealthy woman who has not wanted for anything in her life and has always lived a luxury city style existence. This all comes to an end when she is kidnapped and crash lands in the woods where she meets her rescuer. She faces many ordeals while trudging through the dense forest to civilization and comes to respect and admire her rescuer.

"Hunted Heiress" by Aeriell Lawton is a short tale that starts out with a rather arrogant spoiled rich girl getting ready for a trip to France, and winds up as a romance. In between, she is kidnapped; survives a private jet crash, as does her captor; and is rescued by a nearby camper who just happens to be a policeman.
After her rescue, she has to camp out with her rescuer for two nights as they slowly trek toward the nearest town. At the same time, her captor awakens from being knocked out in the crash, and quickly ascertains that his captive has been rescued. He follows their footprints, but as they had pitched their tent some distance from the trail, he walks right past them and beats them to town.
When they finally get to town a second kidnapping attempt is foiled once again by the vacationing policeman, and the kidnapper is arrested by the local Sheriff. The story ends as all romances end, so I won't go into detail.
Although "Hunted Heiress" is a formulaic romance, the setting makes it somewhat different than most romances. It is also kind of a combination of annoying and amusing, the way the heiress is such a whiny little pain in the rear who has never in her life slept on the ground, or so much as seen a bug, let alone been swarmed by them. She readily adapts, however, to find herself attracted to her rescuer in spite of his "common" social standing.
For a romance, this was an amusing and entertaining short story. I would recommend this book to fans of romances. Also, if you have never read a romance, and think you'd like to try one on for size, this is a good one to start with.
Storyline was great. Kept me reading to the very end, but was short enough to read during lunch breaks and still finish it in a week.

Hunted Heiress is a short read at 79 pages in .pdf format. Unfortunately, the story feels rushed. The author wastes no time on details, not even basic descriptions of the characters or their surroundings, making it difficult to picture the scenes.
Main character Miranda is a New York socalite and daddy’s girl, being the only daughter of a famous business tycoon. She has the personality of a shoe, meaning, zero. She treats people like crap, she behaves like she’s the queen of the world, and she’s, in one word, annoying. When Miranda goes out on a trip to France, she gets kidnapped. Her kidnapper takes her on a plane, but unfortunately the plane crashes. Miranda survives and is recued by Ryan.
Ryan is everything Miranda isn’t, and so much more. He’s handsome and attractive, and most of all, he’s friendly, brave and trustworthy, qualities Miss Perfect has never even heard of. But because he has a soft spot for damsels in distress, Ryan helps her out. He teaches her how to survive in the wilderness until they reach the nearest village. But with each passing day, the two of them grow closer together, and Miranda’s kidnapper gets closer to them…
Like I mentioned, I liked Ryan, but I couldn’t stand Miranda. She did grow through some character progress in the novella, but it felt forced, too sudden and too quick for me to fully believe. The plot wasn’t that original either – girl gets kidnapped, is then rescued by a handsome stranger – but I thought the execution was rather well done. The writing was okay, and I didn’t feel bored at all while reading.
If you’re in the mood for some quick, fun romance, then check out this novella.
This is a routine, quickie romance. Rich girl is kidnapped and taken on plane. Plane crashes. She escapes with the help of a young strong cop, who just happens to be camping in the area. They spend two days and nights hiking to the nearest town, where she calls her rich father for help. However, there is one small glitch—the kidnappers are not ready to junk their kidnapping plot. Can the young girl escape again? How will her new cop friend figure in all this—or will he figure in it? The plot is very ordinary. The setting, out in the woods, with only the camping supplies and equipment the cop has brought along and the young woman of the world who doesn’t even know how to open a can let alone cook a meal over an open fire, is a bit different and adds to the story. The hardest thing for me reading this book was the fact that the conversion program that was used to convert this to a kindle format made the book awkward to read. I am glad it was a short read. The author shows a lot of promise with this work. The characters and storyline are quite good. I recommend it to anyone looking for an easy, short chick lit type read. I received this book from Library Thing to read and review.
This is a short book in length but it is long on laughter. The author perfectly captured the nature of the old fashioned “bodice ripper”. The overused cliches and the over the top characters made this an excellent spoof' I truly like this author and love her sense of humour. I'm looking forward to reading the next book.
I received this book for free in exchange for providing an honest review
I received Hunted Heiress by Aeriell Lawton as a Goodreads First-reads giveaway winner. The book is about 75 pages & is a story about romance. Obviously, it's a quick read. I found it to be a little sophomoric.
