A fitting conclusion to a fbuluos series... Ella Ardent made sure characters from The Plume Series went out with a BANG...

He felt about as smooth as he had in high school, when she’d interviewed him for the newspaper. Once again, Joanna was the one with the confidence he so admired, the one with the plan for the future and the ability to make it happen. In contrast, he’d become the loser with the long-shot dream again. The thing was that he’d achieved his dream, then fucked up and lost it. He’d created something wonderful, but had made one too many enemies and pushed too far. The destruction of the Plume combined with Leya’s deception—never mind that he hadn’t seen either incident coming—made Rex feel dumb.
Seeing how Joanna learned from her experience at the Plume and moved forward reinforced Rex’s sense that he was a failure.
Well, Ardent did her best to create a happy ending for the whole merry gang... The Count got an additional dose of punishment care of Rex (and I assume Charlie?) and even Eric found a new play mate... Rex filly got his shit together... And the rise of The Phoenix was a great touch.

Finally the Celebration of the Plume comes to an end, but what a good one. Maybe a new series (hopefully) with The Phoenix and all the characters from The Plume on the horizon please Ella!!
Great series really enjoyed them all.

This book was fun as was the whole series. It was well written with a great storyline. I like the fact that you had many characters and they all got their parts. This book was the completion to the story and it tied up a few ends but left some open which added to the appeal. That way the story doesn't end and I can imagine what would happen next. Althought this is an erotic book with a strong BDSM element it was a fun story with a few twists along the way. At no point did I feel uncomfortable and it made me laugh in places. I would recommend this story to many even if its not there cup of tea because I believe that many people can be converted by Ella.

Farewell to The Plume, a fabulous series with amazing characters.

This was such a fitting conclusion to The Plume series and it was nice that there were no loose ends or questions left unanswered. I’m not a huge lover of BDSM books so how I ended up following this series I don’t know but still, I loved it. The characters were strong and the storylines were deliciously enticing.

The story continues with Joanna and Mike in the run up to their wedding now that they have recovered from the pressures they faced following Joanna’s admission of a wish to be shared. Joanna in particular has been on a roller coaster of a journey through the world of BDSM but having found her niche with Mike they are happily in love with a relationship that works for them. Still lurking in the background though is Rex and Mike realises that he must put his insecurities behind him in order to move on with Joanna.

Still coming to terms with the fire at The Plume, Rex seeks retribution and hunts out the Count and what a delightful scene that was when these two strong-minded Doms come face to face.

Athena is back and unwilling to leave The Plume behind her is busy devising plans to create a new venture with the help of the original Plume members.

I don’t think one aspect of this conclusion wasn’t fitting. I loved the stag scene, the Count’s punishment and also Athena’s party.

If you love your BDSM books then this series is a must read.

The final book in the Plume series, and I was rather sad it's all over. The baddies got their punishment and the goodies got their HEA.

The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because of how the book ended. Although we found out what everyone's future plans were and how their lives were going, I felt the book ended rather abruptly. It was almost like the author had a tick box for each character and said Rex...sorted...tick, Mike and Joanna...sorted....tick, etc The End!

The writing was good, each book flowed nicely onto the next one, some editing was slightly dodgy, but on the whole, a damn good read!!

This is intended to be the last in a 9 book series but to me it did not seem like the end. It introduced far too many new story lines. It is well written as with the others in the series but to me it was a stepping stone to the next not a door slamming shut.

Loved this one as much as all the others in the series but I wasn't ready for it to end! It just left me wanting more - looking forward to reading all about the Phoenix and hoping that characters from the plume feature in the new series - I have a feeling some of them will! :)

absolutely loved this series from start to finish, thought Ella tied up all the lose ends and still left it open for a spin off series if she wants to carry on. Highly recommend if you like your kink :)

★★★★Celebration by Ella Ardent (The Plume #9)

Of course, once I finally get into a series, it comes to an end. Sadly the series is over, but in tying the lose ends up, it actually opened more. But like The Plume, it lasted longer than I expected, and it was a fun run.

I've really enjoyed this book series. I thought the variances in the story with all of the secondary characters was brilliant. The ending was a good one and now I see there is a spin off series! I need to one click that!!
