How persons have viewed the Book of Mormon since 1830 has often been informed by churches, the print media, and society in general. Some have supported and others have detracted, but there has usually been no middle ground. This book suggests that, due to increasing knowledge available since the nineteenth century, at present there are various ways a person may regard the Book of Mormon. The author affirms the book as scripture while at the same time persistently asking the reader, "What do you think?" His purpose is to stimulate interested in and a discussion of the Book of Mormon's place in religious life and history.
