Great continuation from book one. The Brown children are a force to be reckon with. Really enjoyed the book. Can't wait till the next one. Would recommend.
Chocolate and Carlos find out more news about their father can not believe all the secret's and lies. When tragedy strikes. It brings out the beast in them along with their other siblings Pepper and Butta.
Honestly there are so many problems with this I'm sure many have already pointed them out. The biggest problem is the shifting perspective of who is telling the story. Also the consistent problem of going in and out of past tense when it reads as if it's happening at the moment. I get the editing and all that but if you're not a big time author the cost for professional editing can get expensive. Especially for free books and short stories.
That's no excuse but I can get over it and see that the story itself with all its flaws can actually be good if the author took her time and sequenced it out. The flow is off in many parts and the pace is fast so you don't get a chance to connect with the characters. It's almost as if its a rough draft and it's waiting for the detail and cleanup. I do think if the author was a better story teller on paper it would be a good read all together. Again its free so I'll read the next one but I know even if these are just a dollar after this one I wouldn't be.
woah... this was a banger and that ending tho , it was like a movie being played out in my head. I loved every moment of the book, especially the siblings bond, I just hope they can get choc out of that sticky situation
