The male body is exceptionally beautiful. And it deserves its place among all the beautiful things man has made art out of.
This book is an anthology of different photographers. And as all anthologies, it’s never a perfect compendium on the subject. The treatment is from one extreme to another. I could have done without the theatrics and artificial setups among the content. Furthermore, I've read Taschen's edition treating the male nude, and a lot of the photographs are a repeat of what I've already seen there. Taschen's is a better and more involved study.

This is a very good mix of male erotic photography. Nice large size, too. Includes a photo of Damon Albarn by Wolfgang Tillmans so it gets 5 stars from me.
