Justice Overruled: Unmasking the Criminal Justice System

Rate this book
Judge Katz, a veteran of 25 years as a prosecutor, defense attorney, judge, and teacher, exposes the abuse and misuse of justice in this country and what can be done to fix it. He reveals why winning is everything and the truth means nothing in court; why lawyers are allowed to select the most bigoted and uneducated jurors; how racial politics control the criminal justice agenda; why judges who cannot follow basic rules of conduct stay on the bench; and more.

Katz looks like one of those fake tv judges. The terrible cover pretty much says it all in terms of how vapid and lacking in substance this book is. He comes across as purely driven by narcissism and he conveniently/dishonestly leaves out how he himself exploited and profited from the corrupt judicial system the he criticizes. Don’t waste your time on this garbage (the book and the author).

I have lost my original notes, but recall that it sounded a bit screed-like in its complaining; he is, after all, a lawyer.
