This book offers a nice balanced approach to caring for infants. The authors share from their knowledge as nurses, lactation consultants, and mothers to offer scientific and practical advice for the new mom. It is truly a Christian approach offering advice that is scriptural and spirit based. I appreciate that they understand what a 'good mom' looks like may be breast feeding or bottle, co-sleeping or using a crib, it is not a one size approach, which, although many new mom's might appreciate a "right" answer, is in the end not always helpful. My one critique is that the scriptures are in the King James version and in my opinion makes it less accessible for many readers
