Nice little read! Suspenseful and intriguing. Little bit of historical fiction that would make a nice after-school special.

Very interesting story.

I read this book and felt like I was in Gettysburg with the children. Lots of history with a great story line. Are ghosts real???

I received this book as a gift a long time ago. it's definitely a children's book. the characters are a little flat in my opinion and I hate the kids hate history trope especially from a main character. really sweet ending though. didn't go all that deep into Gettysburg history though. I've read other civil war based children's books that I liked much better like the Dear America books? so good but also probably because they are longer
