Although this book was not in the English language, it was still very understanding and fun to read. As a Spanish speaker, I believe that learning about my culture and the history of a Spanish-speaking country is very important so I can know more about what happened long ago in other parts of the world, not just America. This book did not only teach me about Villa's life and all the good and bad things he did, but it also made it very realistic, and the author's choice of imagery made me imagine what was truly going on in Mexico during that time. This biography was very informative and very fun to read because it was the story of a great man that was seen as a horrible one. All the opinions and controversies of all the (real) characters, and even the author, hooked me on reading and made it a fun experience. I would recommend this book to anyone who speaks the language, or anyone who likes learning about the history of other countries. But do not worry, if someone is interested in his biography, there are other book in English about him. I picked this book when I was on a trip in Mexico City. There were other biographies by Marco Antonio, but this one in particular gave me interest. I had never learned about Pancho Villa, but now I have full knowledge of who he was and what he did. This book was not challenging at all. I would even say it was easier than an English book for me because Spanish is my first language.
