Read this after reading his book Raise the Bridge Don't Lower the River. Very much enjoyed this, but the last (48 page) chapter about Leland Hayward was a bit of a slog.

I picked this up in a second hand book shop in Boscastle , Cornwall UK and loved it.

Loved it so much that I wrote to Max Wilk telling him which started a sporadic correspondence with him talking about things I loved and he loved.

A very incisive, clever and entertaining man.

I wish I could have gotten to meet him in person
