Just confusing

I was not sure if I was coming or going. there were many character and the blending of them felt off. It did not feel cohesive. There were sections of the story that was likable.

The narrator just was not my cup of tea. The older people didn’t really sound older and those that were in supposed thirties and forties sounded much older. The picture being created by the narration was not the same as the picture created by the story.

This was a hard listen, didn’t like the narrator's voice. I only listened to the first chapter so I cannot say if the story was good or not.
