Rate this book
In the year 2084, Earth is faced with massive overpopulation, food and water shortages and extreme weather events caused by global warming. Megacities are struggling to feed and house their restless and hungry citizens.
Androids, Cyborgs and surveillance drones are used routinely by the military and giant corporations seeking to consolidate their ever increasing power in a race for total control of the population. With the provision of food now critical these corporations are becoming more powerful than the governments who depend upon them.

Against this background and the threat of imminent war with the Eastern Alliance, the journalist Case Campbell and his friends seek to expose the dangers facing humanity on the brink of collapse. Worst of all the emergence of genetically engineered Mutants potentially pose the greatest threat to mankind.

About the author

Luke Bowman

6 books1 follower
After many years of travelling and moving from country to country, Luke has settled in a quiet rural village in England’s West Country, not too far from the site of the ancient stone circles. Although not a druid, his family have often questioned this possibility along with his fascination for crop circles and other unexplained phenomena. Luke has been spotted on more than one occasion, wandering among crop circles, late at night.

Eventually he decided it was better to publish his ramblings in eBook form and is now a self-published author, having started a science fiction series. Always interested in what the planet will hold for future generations, Luke has written in the dystopian sub-genre, highlighting worst-case scenarios, and hoping that these may never unfold.

A passionate lover of nature and the conservation of wildlife, Luke spent his younger days in central Africa, a region that never quite leaves one’s heart and soul. He works as a gardener and writes in his spare time.
