This particular book explains in children's terms that God is omniscient, in a way that children can understand. The book is telling them that God sees all that they do, and he is with them at all times. God is present when there are problems and God is present when everything is going smoothly. It also explains that God has a reason for everything, like it raining when you want it to be sunny. It tells children to be patient that they might not always understand what God is doing, but He knows what he is doing. It is okay to ask about God, but there might not always be answers, and that's okay. This book has a theme about patience with God, and accepting that He knows what is best. The genre would be best described as an educational book about spirituality and God. I think that the way the story is written it is best for children under the age of 8. It is ever to ea;y to start teaching about God.
