Just boning up on my math basics in preparation for teaching my first Princeton Review course! This is all just a review (just so you know that I'm not reading this because I'm not already familiar with basic math) but pop quiz: Negative numbers raised to a negative exponent will a) stay negative? or b) become positive? Math Smart II tells all!
On a nerdier level, I actually find the translation of mathematical processes in symbol form to word form sort of poetic. Retracing this info (along with Grammar Smart) has been a much-welcome massage for my brain. It makes me realize that the mind truly is a muscle.
