Dashboards

Rate this book
The lure of the classic car is undeniable, and one of the quintessential features of any classic car is the dashboard. In gleaming metal, polished wood or padded leather, the dashboard has always conveyed much of a car's individual character. Whether in a single-seater racing car or a family saloon, it is here that function meets form, ergonomics meets style.

An expensive book that has some professional photography of auto dashboards. The American and European cars for the most part are esoteric and not cars many of us, even car buffs, ever had a chance to see much less drive. Many photos are too dark. The history of the dashboard is superficially treated. See "The Dashboard Book" for a more complete illustrated history.
