Where are my writing friends at?

Meet Jacqueline Fisch! “Most people call me Jacq (sounds like Jack) but spelled fancy and French - neither of which I am.”

If you’re looking for help getting your writing started or maybe a little encouragement along the way, this is the guide for you. She guides you through the entire process, in an easy to read, and comical, way. I personally know Jacq, and I can tell you, she knows her shit. She also wants all those around her to be successful. Such a beautiful person and kind soul.

She can help guide you through writing blog posts, a book, emails, and website copies. The ideas and journal prompts are incredibly helpful.

This book is more than just a guide for your writing. Jacq gives examples of daily schedules, meal prepping, and positive mantras to keep you organized and on task.

This book is truly “the remedy for writer’s block and the secret of authentic communication.”

Thanks for sending your book my way, Jacq!

It’s kind of ironic - the author mentioned that manifesting sounds like “woo-woo BS”, and I agree that there are some topics in here that are just…why. I don’t care about a smoothie recipe and anecdotes and throat chakra work.
She also mentions that some of us rabidly consume media like a to-do list without being mindful and processing what we are consuming - which is exactly what I’m doing with this book.
The author is smart and has a good grasp on how our attitudes and health can impact our ability to move forward with things we want or need to do. There are some useful suggestions in the Journal prompts, but most of this was really meh for me. I found myself skimming and my mind wandering. It’s also more relevant for people who write professionally than a hobbyist. This just didn’t do it for me.

Intuitive Writing by Jacqueline Fisch has been a game-changer, I only wish I had it sooner! Following the processes in the book, I enjoy writing again and am able to write with more ease.

What I love about this book is that it's not just a collection of tips and tricks. Instead, it offers a comprehensive approach to writing that incorporates mindfulness, self-awareness, and creativity. The author walks you through various exercises and techniques to help you develop your intuitive writing abilities and overcome any mental blocks that may be holding you back, including procrastination - a big one for me.

One of my favorite quotes (there are many) is, "Everything is energy. Words carry significant energy. And how you do writing is how you do life. If you can find ease in the writing process, you can and ease in other areas of your life."

I highly recommend Intuitive Writing to anyone looking to do more writing and actually enjoy it. It's an engaging, informative, and practical guide that will help you unlock your full writing potential and communicate more authentically, something we desperately need more of in the world.

If your love for writing has turned into a love/hate or, worse, a hate/dread relationship, this might be the book for you.

Intuitive Writing takes you by the hand to follow the author on the path to becoming an authentic writer. Writing authentically means letting the words flow through you (which feels awesome!) instead of pushing them out (which doesn't feel good!). This requires managing your state and taking care of your body as much as applying the many practical tips and tools to help you write in flow.

I love that Jacqueline pays attention to body-mind-spirit in her approach to help you find what feels good in writing. The book has been helpful to me already: I can finally write shitty first drafts after suffering from the Compulsive-Editing-During-Writing Syndrome for years! But more importantly, I know this book will be my companion in bettering my relationship with writing over the months and years to come.

“If you want to be a tormented writer, this book isn’t for you. Same goes if you prefer to cling to your stories about writing being painful and frustrating.”

"(...) “everything is energy. Words carry significant energy. And how you do writing is how you do life. If you can find ease in the writing process, you can find ease in other areas of your life.”

"(...) in the Information age we have no shortage of knowledge. What we have though is an implementation problem."

P.S.: I've been an Intuitive Writing School member since November 2022 and recognize some journaling exercises from our co-writing sessions. So I can attest that these methods are tried and tested!

I highly recommend this book to anyone who writes anything and wants to find their voice, find their flow, and release their words into this world.

Even if you don't call yourself a writer, there is a whole section relevant for everyone - "Part 2 - Tending Mind, Body, and Soul" - with helpful advice on taking care of yourself.

Jacq's gentle guidance and advice throughout each page helps you acknowledge that you are unique, intuitive, and worthy of capturing your thoughts and sharing them with others.

Even if you're just thinking about writing and don't know how to start or if you're a long-time writer and looking for inspiration and support, this book is a wonderful companion. I'm keeping it on my shelf to refer back to it whenever I need help moving forward.

I especially liked and used the Journal Prompts that encourage you to put into practice her advice and ideas. The book isn't just a great read, but also a series of exercises to help you practice and absorb what you're learning and feel great about your writing and yourself. I will continue to go back to these whenever I need to.

You deserve to have this book in your life! It's made a real difference in mine and it will help you feel encouraged, inspired, and supported in whatever you do, especially with your writing.

This book is awesome! And so is the author, Jacq Fisch! She leaves no stone left unturned around why we may have writer's block and how to bust through it so we can share our unique message and experiences with the world– which everyone desperately needs.

From topics like healing our childhood wounds & trauma to working with the female cycle, it's a holistic writing book that leaves you feeling like you just stepped out of a life coaching session at a writer's retreat. Jacq drives the point home that the better our lives, the better our writing – no tortured artist vibes here – and she gives us practical tips, tools, and strategies for how to achieve just that.

I've also had the privilege of working with Jacq one-on-one, and I can honestly say that what she teaches in the book are the exact same things you'll hear from her directly... and that it all WORKS. She recently helped me find my focus and gain momentum after a challenging period in my life, which led to paying clients and renewed confidence around my own writing gift. Her book continues to be a helpful companion and a complement to the wisdom I gleaned from her as I continue my journey.

Get the book, do the work, and watch your life transform one word at a time!

If you are living, you are a writer! Maybe you don't believe that, but after reading this book you will. Jacq explains how the body, mind and Spirit all play a part in your writing. She also describes practical ways to implement the writing practice to set yourself up for success. Writing in flow, writing intuitively and with authenticity is how it should always be done! I've written more after reading this book and working in Jacq's community than I have all year. Business writing and personal writing are both flowing! It feels amazing. I highly suggest this book for everyone. Jacq's easy to read style, her humor, journal prompts all will keep you coming back to your own writing. This book encompasses the entire person, which is exactly what your writing should reflect!
