Gracie is full of energy . She tries to stop moving, but the wiggles and jiggles won’t stop. She constantly taps her pencil, wiggles around in her seat, or jiggles her feet. Gracie thinks she can’t do anything right.
One day she discovers her best friend Lacey’s red tap shoes. When Lacey invites her to tap dancing class, Gracie is so excited.
Will tap dancing get rid of the wiggles and jiggles?

TAP-TAP-TAP is an important book for children who are unable to stop moving at times when they are expected to sit still. Gracie can't help wiggling and jiggling to release her energy when she's doing her work, and feels miserable about it. However, with her friend's support she finds a fun, joyous way to overcome her problem. An inspiring story of friendship and support.
Recommended for kids 4+ and their parents/caregivers.
I would highly recommend this book to girls or boys of all ages. It’s never too early to learn how to be kind or helpful to someone who is struggling. A few adults might even learn a thing or two by reading this book. I purchased one for each of my nieces and they absolutely proclaim this to be their favorite book. This book deserves a 5 star rating!
A fun a charming story about a girl searching to find her way in the world, with great messages about friendship and perseverance. The hunt for heart illustrations is a fun touch to keep the pages turning.
This book is as full of energy as Gracie, the wiggler who finds her success in tap class. Expending energy creatively while cooperating in an active class helps Gracie refocus the restless feet in school. A story of friendship and the joy of finding just the right outlet.
Dawn Renee Young captures the experience of a child who needs a way to release her extra energy. The story illustrates the joy of having a friend who truly understands you.
