This is a really fun early reader book which tells the story from a child - if I had a hippo, I'd call it ..., if I had a bunny i'd call it...
My daughter is learning to read and loved this book. It has gorgeous if occasionally somewhat random rhymes and allows the children to read it properly and then to explore what they would all their animals if only they had them!
