Generation Gap is the perfect supplement to a primary Korean textbook, or an exciting primary textbook for a third- or fourth-year course at the high school or college level. When used as a a primary textbook, Generation Gap can be completed over the course of two semesters. Comprising task- and content-based language teaching material, each of twenty units starts with background (in Korean and English) and warm- up questions. Comprehension, vocabulary, discussion, and composition exercises follow to help students improve their reading comprehension, practice language skills, and make cultural comparisons in Korean. A vocabulary list accompanies each using, and a comprehensive vocabulary index and exercise answer keys are included for quick reference.
I've only read the free preview BUT I COULD PROBABLY KILL TO OWN A COPY OF THIS BOOK, IT'S EXACTLY WHAT I NEED FOR MY TOPIK PRACTICE. 😭😭
I could only find an e-book version on Cheng & Tsu, but it cost a whopping 37$ (600 egp) and was only available for 12 months after purchase. No printing, no offline reading, only tears and suffering— thanks for nothing, Cheng and Tsu!
I'll stick with Integrated Korean, 문화가 있는 학국어 읽기, Yonsei Reading, and The Routledge Intermediate Korean Reader. Who needs 세대차이? Definitely not me. *Stubbornly wipes tears*
