هذه الدراسة ألقيت في شكل محاضرات على طلبة وطالبات الكلية الإكليريكية بالقاهرة وطنطا، فجاءت كمحاولة لوضع الأساس اللاهوتي والتاريخي للعقيدة المسيحية الأرثوذكسية، وعلى أساس آبائي، وفي إطار التراث الأرثوذكسي المصري الذي يمتد من أكليمنضس السكندري حتى العصر الحديث، فقد ساهم كل جيل في شرح العقيدة الأرثوذكسية وقدم أفضل ما لديه. هذا الشرح المتراكم، أصبحنا في حاجة شديدة إلى عرضه وهضمه.

كتاب جيد
خاصة الجزء الاخير عن اللاهوت الشرقي و الايكونوميا والثيولوجيا

هو بالحقيقة مقدمة عظيمة ومدخل حسن لللاهوت الأرثوذوكسي.
أكثر ما أعجبني فيه عدم فصله اللاهوت عن الإيمان أو الطريق الله فالثيؤلوجيا ليست مجرد نظريات أو معرفة عنده بل أسلوب حياة.
استخدامه لاستشهادات آبائية من أثناسيوس, أوريجانوس, كيرلس أو اكليمنضس السكندري جعل منهج الكتاب واضحاً في أنه لم يحيد عن النظرة الشرقية القديمة لآباء الإسكندرية عند النظر إلى اللاهوت.
أعجبني الجزء الذي يوضح فيه أيضاً الفرق بين الإيكونوميا (التدبير) والثيؤلولجيا (معرفة الله) وكيف أنهما يكملان بعضهما بعض.
