I'm not a big fan of anthologies but since I knew a lot of the authors through the Horror Addicts podcast I thought I would give it a shot. Each one of these stories were great in their own right. After a good intro from Emerian Rich the first story was a poem by Garth Von Buchholz that was very dark and really set the tone for the anthology.

From there the book includes 12 horrifying tales set during a real disaster such as the 1906 San Francisco earthquake, the dust storms of Nebraska in 1934 and the SARS epidemic of 2003. In the book you will hear of mad scientists, angels, demons, sea monsters and voodoo magic. Not only is this a great horror anthology it also has a purpose, proceeds from the book go to the Rescue Task Force. This anthology is unique, since I can't think of any other disaster anthology and all the stories were original and terrifying if your in to horror you will love it.
