Ok this book was just Hawt with a capital H!!! I thought my kindle was gonna catch on fire. The dynamics of Soren, Steffan, Taylor and now adding Lee into the mix....holy cheese on a cracker!! And we finally got some more answers and I am on edge wanting to know everything!! And I foolishly thought this was the last book and was so excited to get it to find out all the answers but no!!! I am now going to have to try and patiently wait for the next book to come out!! I am telling you if you love why choose and secret society with murder and secrets and drama and gore you will absolutely love this book. It will definitely keep you on the edge of your seat. And not be able to put the book down until you have finished reading every single word and the be left wanting more!! I am now in a book hangover and need more of these characters!! This is a must read series and a fantastic read!!

The plot of The Illicit Brotherhood gets better with each book and I love the way these two authors twist everything at every turn, making things for Taylor and the boys more and more complicated, and I'm really enjoying their way of telling the story of these characters.

And finally it was time for Lee, Steffan's best friend and that boy who has always been faithful to the brotherhood and its rules since the series began, BUT in Bleed for the Brotherhood we see a different side of this character, as after facing enormous losses, tragedy, constant danger and threats to his loved ones, he decides to take action, makes some reckless decisions and finds in Soren the perfect partner to carry them out, an alliance that is a little strange but that works in the most peculiar, bizarre and fun way. And if that were not enough, Lee discovers that his feelings for Taylor and for someone else are changing, he's confused, he's afraid of losing the people who keep him strong because of it, and although it broke my heart to read Lee suffer in this book, I loved that he had the people he needs by his side to move forward.

As always, read my favorite psychopath gives me all the life in the world! Soren is still completely reckless, explosive and only shows his sweet side with Taylor, but I think in this book we also see a much more vulnerable Soren, afraid of losing Taylor's love, worried for Steffan's well-being and able to stay in control when the situation requires it. For his part, Steff also has an interesting path to take in the book, one that I feel goes by very quickly and deserved a little more depth. Finally, Taylor continues to show more of her good girl image that increasingly dares to ask for what she wants, even when her feelings for Lee make her feel little guilty at the beginning.

La trama de The Illicit Brotherhood se pone mejor con cada libro y me encanta la manera en la que estas dos autoras lo van retorciendo todo a cada paso, haciendo las cosas para Taylor y los chicos cada vez más complicadas, además estoy disfrutando muchísimo su manera de contar la historia de estos personajes.

Y por fin llegó el momento de Lee, el mejor amigo de Steffan y ese chico que siempre ha sido fiel a la hermandad y sus reglas desde que comenzó la serie, PERO en Bleed for the Brotherhood vemos un lado diferente de este chico, ya que después de enfrentarse a perdidas enormes, a la tragedia, el constante peligro y amenazas a sus seres queridos, decide entrar en acción, toma algunas decisiones imprudentes y encuentra en Soren el compañero perfecto para llevarlas a cabo, una alianza que resulta un poco extraña pero que funciona de la manera más peculiar, bizarra y divertida. Y por si eso fuera poco, Lee descubre que sus sentimientos por Taylor y por alguien más están cambiando, está confundido, tiene miedo de perder a las personas que lo mantienen fuerte debido a ello, y aunque me rompió el corazón leer a Lee sufrir en este libro, me encantó que tuviera a su lado a las personas que necesita para seguir adelante.

Como siempre, me da todo la vida del mundo leer a mi psicópata favorito! Soren sigue siendo completamente imprudente, explosivo y solo muestra su lado dulce con Taylor, pero creo que en este libro también vemos a un Soren mucho más vulnerable, temeroso de perder el amor de Taylor, preocupado por el bienestar de Steffan y capaz de mantenerse en control cuando la situación lo requiere. Por su parte Steff también tiene un camino interesante que recorrer en el libro, una que siento que pasa muy rápido y merecía un poco más de profundidad. Finalmente, Taylor sigue mostrando más de su imagen de chica buena que cada vez se atreve mucho más a pedir lo que quiere, aún cuando sus sentimientos por Lee la hacen sentir un poco culpable al inicio.

Man, this series! I originally read the first book to review, but since then, I've been seeking them out because this series is AH-MAZING! Best series I've read in the last 2 years. The action/mystery is paced perfectly with character/relationship growth. I thought this was the last book, but it ended on a heck of a cliffhanger and I'm not even mad about it because the story is THAT good. I could see this series being made into a book.... although movies don't always do the books justice, but dang. I just had to write a review so people will hopefully pick these up because they are SO. GOOD.

All of the characters play big parts (even the side characters). There was one twist I saw coming early in the book, but not quite how it played out. This/these murderer(s) are not playing. I don't want to give anything away, but if you read Chandra/Succo's book, then you know how it ended. This book picks up in the immediate aftermath and boy are the bad guys determined. It's unclear if the wrath against the Illicit Brotherhood was brought on by the actions of their predecessors or themselves. Regardless, it's clear that whoever is doing this is out to take down the Illicit. Steffan/Soren/Lee have decided to initiate a hostile takeover because they're sick of their evil elders (including parents) running things without care of the fallout to anyone besides themselves. This is just minorly touched on in this book, but it's a huge turning point on how they are going to deal with the murders. They're tired of playing defense and want to start some offense. The events that take place are terrifying; like viscerally scary and soooooooo creepy, but so integral to figuring out the mystery. I can't wait until the next book! I'm hoping Allison stays busy in that book too.

I recommend this series so much! If you like unpredictable mysteries that keep you on the edge of your seat with compelling characters, this is for you.

I still don't get why all four of these books couldn't have been combined into one book. This barely gave us any sort of answers and it wasn't until the last page. There were deaths and sex and that's it. I'm glad that all of these have already been released and I can easily read them on KU, otherwise I wouldn't have bothered after the second one if I had to wait for it to be released.

I was excited to see from Lee's point of view but it didn't feel right. He's pining after Taylor, ok that's sort of believable since he had some longing glances at her a few times in book 3. But there were NO signs of him being attracted to Steffan or vice versa, and yet they are all over each other in this one. Sex and relationships are believable when there are breadcrumbs leading up to it. This felt like it was thrown together because almost all RHs have MM in them, and since the authors wanted to make this an RH, they had to make two guys bone. It didn't feel believable. There had been no chemistry or anything before this book. It also made the relationship between Taylor and Steffan watered down because before now, he had been obsessed with her, and now we find out he'd been longing for his BFF.

I don't know. I really wanted to see an HEA for Taylor,Steffan, and Soren, but now the plot and characters are becoming so outlandish that I don't know if I care anymore. It's probably only 100 pages anyway, so I might finish it. We'll see.

What?!!! That was insane and I loved every twisted second of it!! This book was a white knuckled, wild and crazy ride! It was one epic surprise after another. I thought I had some guesses about the outcome but I never could have expected all that transpired.

I was very surprised by the changes in the dynamic of the group. I was not expecting that! Don't get me wrong it was super hot but it felt like it was done as more of a convenience to the story than the genuine feelings of the characters. I would have believed it more if we had gotten glimpses in past books, thoughts from certain characters leaning in that general direction.

Soren is and will always be my favorite. My heart stopped for a second during one moment with him but I was glad it all worked out. I think he stayed true to his nature and I believed that he wasn't as happy about the new dynamic as he let on. He just loves Taylor so much that he would do anything for her. That's what draws me to him though is the undying devotion from someone who can be a little twisted and usually self centered.

I liked getting to know Lee more and seeing more about his and Chanda's family upbringing. I also loved getting to see Chanda and Jose again. They are such a great couple.

The suspense and complexity of this story is off the charts! It's always changing and you have no idea who's going to be next. It's a gripping read for sure because I couldn't put it down once I started. I needed to know!!!! After that ending I'll be waiting on pins and needles for the next book. Would definitely recommend it!

Blown away is the easiest sentence I can form after reading that book! This book proves that you never know what to expect from Ashton Brooks & Gail Haris!

Bleed for the Brotherhood is a why choose, dark secret society romance that will have you question everything you thought you know! It is highly recommended to read this series in order, or else it will be even more confusing. When I started this series, I did not expect to be here which these characters and this world, it really takes you on a journey that is so unpredictable, and I absolutely love every second of it! This twisted, suspenseful read kept me on the edge of my seat. This is probably the best mystery that I’ve come across. Then there is the characters who I love every single one! They each have their place and their own personality that fits so well to the story. They chemistry they all have is off the charts! I didn’t know I needed this spice level in my life until I read it but now I know I need more! The ending definitely leaves you wanting more! I know I’m dying for the next book to see what happens!!

If you’ve started this series or one of these book, I highly recommend you continue! The crazy rollercoaster these authors take you on is so exciting! I am dying for more and need more answers! I need to talk about this book, I need to compare theories, this book has taken over my thoughts. I definitely recommend this read and this series they are so good!

Where to begin….we finally have book 4 of The Illicit Brotherhood series, and it was everything I ever could have wanted from this series, and SO much more! To say Gail and Ashton are knocking this series out of the park is the understatement of the century. These characters and this world are so dark and twisty, you just can’t put it down once you start. I cannot wait to see what is next for these brothers, and all our characters.

In Bleed for the Brotherhood, we get the story primarily told from Lee Concord’s POV. As the journey of the brotherhood continues to unfold, we see Lee in mourning from the events of his past, and desperate for a future he shouldn’t want with her. He is a fascinating character and as things start to play out, Gail and Ashton take this book into a whole new direction I never saw coming. It’s spicy, forbidden, taboo, and I loved every word of it. Seeing how the group comes together to defend the brotherhood and attempt to track and identify the killer was an adventure unfolding before my very eyes. They are able to so clearly illustrate every word, that I can see this playing out in my head like a movie. From the steamy to the scary, this book was a great addition to the series.

I cannot wait to see what is next for our group, and most importantly, who will survive it…

Omgosh y'all! This book! Gah!!! Chuckling at the me who started chapter 1 thinking this was the last book! spoiler alert! It's not!!* but I was soooo here for it!!! And just like with books 1-3 I am obsessively watching and waiting for book 5!

ohhh Lee! You have continued to sneak into my feels from the very beginning!! In Pledge Your Loyalty (book 1) and Smoke the Enemy (book 2) I totally fell in love with the carefree best buddy to Steffan and his carefree banter, then my heart broke for him in Crave the Illicit (book 3) but by the end, my wheels were turning on where his HEA was headed...

MY GOD! Didn't fully see this full plot coming! And I absolutely loved every single drop of it! Although I am not usually really into RH.. (I know I know..🤷‍♀️) but this one totally worked. I'm so invested in the Illicit Brotherhood that it didn't bug me a bit! Was rooting for it and it was HOTTTT!

Ashton.. Gail.. my dr bill will be in the mail for that ending lol!!! Cannnnnnot wait! Die for the Family is going to be amazing! And I am already preparing myself because I have a feeling it's gonna make me shed a tear or 2!

Also!!! I never thought I would be emotionally attached to an alligator! 🐊 But Allison is absolutely my spirit animal and gave me a heart palpitation or 2!

Thrilling, suspenseful with a touch of romance

Oh my goodness! This series is so addictive..I can't stop reading! And now I have to wait for the last book to come out?! After THAT cliffhanger...

This is the fourth book in a five book series and you have to read the books in order otherwise it won't make sense!

I enjoyed how this book dived more into the relationships between Taylor, Soren, Steffan, and now Lee! Of course, there was no lacking in the spice department and the suspense kept you on your toes throughout!

I have my theories but I still can't quite decide who I think is behind everything..Most of the people who I thought were involved have been taken out so they are no longer a suspect! But I have a feeling that the final book will throw me for a loop but I can't wait to see how it all comes together!

This series has everything and I recommend reading them all! You get the spice, suspense, and emotion! I loved learning about each characters background and how they all have become a tight knit family!

I am seriously scared by the turn of events this book had. The thriller is quite breathtaking and the suspense fills me with dread of the outcome. The story starts where it left off in book three and I will suggest everyone read the books in the correct sequence. Everything is very closely interrelated and connected beautifully.

Soren, Steffan, Taylor and Lee have their POVs in this one which are very interesting and insightful. I really enjoyed the way the story moved forward and the plot shifted to a darker side. The spiciness lightens up the hard times and gives an illusion of happy times whereas, in reality, everything is going to sh** but we still get a few happy moments.

Now I am very curious about the ending of the book and the revelations behind them. We only formed a gist of things but what is really behind all this chaos is still a mystery and I want to see it to get to the bottom of it all. I am excited for the upcoming ending.

This is the fourth book in the Illicit Brotherhood series and it picks up where book three ended: the disappearance from Chanda.
Taylor is still together with the Carmichael twins, but Lee and Taylor also have this tension between them. Can she have feelings for him too? And how will Soren and Steffan react to this?
But the main story with the threats against the brotherhood are still there. Throughout the book, some questions are answered, but believe me, I still have a lot of questions left. And that ending, oh Miss Brooks and Miss Haris have me on edge again and leave me hanging with that cliffhanger. I love how they build the tension and the intrigue, and when you think that everything will fall into place, wham, they bring in something new. I can’t wait to read the next book, I need answers, I need closure… just to start reading this series all over again.

Wow. I have no words… in a good way!! The chaos. The spice. The love. The twists and turns. This book had it all. It was so so good that I read it in a day!

We get multiple points of view. Which gives you a fuller picture of what is happening and the feelings of Soren, Steffan, Taylor… and Lee. They are getting closer and closer to finding out who is causing the mass chaos in their college and closer and closer to one another. But not before more lives are lost. You never know when you flip to the next page who might be next.
The truth unravels slowly in finding out who might be the root cause of all of the murders across campus and their town. Just when you think you have an idea, you’re thrown off the trail again.

This is also Gail & Ashton’s spiciest book yet, so hold on to your panties because you’re in for a wild ride with this next book in the series.

This book is 4th is a series that must be read in order to have a true appreciation of the story. And it is a very intriguing story! So much so that I binged this book and the one before back to back in one night. I thought this was the last book in the series and I would finally get my answer of WHO is behind all the murders. But no - it ends on a cliffhanger and I need to know!!!
I don’t think I’ve ever read a series that does the mystery/suspense so well over several books and just keeps me guessing.
And I really enjoyed the way Taylor and her boys finally became a MMFM quad. Because finding a way for Soren to be accepting - I didn’t see how that would work but it really was an elegant solution.
When is the next one out??? I need to know! I’ve revised my guess (again) on who the murderer(s) are and can’t wait to find out!

Each book I read in this series just sucks me in a lil more each time as I am so freakin obsessed with this series. There were so many twists and turns, so much blood & d3aths in this book it literally had me on the edge of my seat poor Taylor can't catch a break as the people close to her are just the moving pieces on the board of who's out to take down the Illicit and Steffan, Soren & Lee are trying to keep her safe while trying to figure out who's behind it all. This does end on a cliffhanger as we're so close to getting the answers as to...why. I cannot wait for the next book. I need it stat!

Absolutely a must read, but this isn't a standalone so you need to start with book 1 Pledge Your Loyalty there are triggers so check them before reading.

I’m not one for cliffhangers but these two know how to hook me in and keep me coming back for more. And boy, do I keep wanting more.
This story is weaved with brilliant mystery and suspense without taking away the delicious amount of romance. It is perfectly balanced and is something you keep thinking about after it’s all said and done.

I can’t wait to see if my assumptions are right or if I’m being led in circles like the characters are from the murderer.

Shut the front door! We’re getting close but I STILL have no clue who is behind this mayhem!😱 This book had me fanning my face! We get a deep dive into Lee and I’m loving his POV, plus more from the twins and Taylor. Their relationship is taken a winding turn and they are trying to stay alive while navigating life! Argh! This installment was tense and I can’t believe it’s all going to come to a head and end in one more book😨 I feel like I’m going to need more! lol. Bravo ladies! I’m going in for the final installment!

Are they fighting against multiple opponents or one large one? This book focuses on who could be behind the attacks and trying to find out the missing pieces. Chanda and Taylor start working together, after women have been excluded from the brotherhood. I love how important Allison is to everyone, but especially to Soren. The relationship between Taylor, Soren, Steffan, and Lee finally begins to develop together. This does end on a cliffhanger, and I cannot wait for the next one.

This is book 4 in the series and is continued from where the last book ended.
Soren, Steffan and Taylor are happy in their relationship but there's something or rather someone is missing to make their relationship perfect and content. That someone is Lee Concord. After his girlfriend's death, Lee has found solace only in Taylor's company and Taylor also feels something for him. After Lee is added in the mix, their relationship is finally complete but there's still a serial killer out there who's targeting the brotherhood.
This book was hot, like sizzling hot. It was epic and super sexy. The books just keep getting better and better. I've no words after I read the ending. I was totally not expecting that. It's definitely an intense book with a great plot.

Bleed for the Brotherhood is book #4 in the Illicit Brotherhood series. It's a dark, romantic suspense, secret society book. This story is a why choose romance between Steffan, Soran, Lee and Taylor. It's full of action, suspense, so much tension and all the feels! There are so many twists and turns, as well as plenty of steam. I can't get enough of this series.

∆ Book 4 of the Illicit Brotherhood Series, this book has stolen my heart with its twists and turns and the way its characters have developed from the previous three books. I love every second of it. If given the opportunity to re-read this book, I will definitely hop onto that opportunity. Highly recommended 🩶

This was a crazy ride with lots of twists and turns, but I would not want it any other way. Now I have to wait for more answers....I will be okay....I think. These two authors are keep us readers wanting more of these characters..... More please, like now.

This series is good! So many twists and turns. The suspense definitely keeps you on the edge of your seat. Just when you think you know what's going to happen, things change. This book ends on a cliffy and I can't wait to read the next book.

I love how Lee is also included in their dynamic now. Soren is just amazing for being so thoughtful of Taylor and Steffan. I like only how he is nice to his girlfriend and twin and just straight out arrogant and rude to all others.

Oh my gosh, I'm loving this one so far! Lee's POV is everything - the tension is something else! I'm literally on the edge of my seat. And that twist at the end? Mind blown! I did not see it coming!
