I first encountered chapters from this book in one of my education classes. Those selected readings were enough to convince me that this book should be a part of my education library.
I've not regretted a single page of this useful book. Having taken my start in education working in the Special Education department under a profoundly talented director, this book has expanded upon and supported everything I learned there.
If you're interested in sheltered instruction, in accommodations and modifications for your classroom or educational setting, this book is a must have resource.
Furthermore, let me state that these techniques and strategies do not simply find their best application in the IEP/ 504 classroom. These are strategies and modes which belong in every classroom.
