With about two weeks left before my 20th birthday, I set out from Bar Harbor, Maine and hitchhiked to Starkville, Mississippi, traveling 1800 miles over five days, receiving twenty-five rides and spending $4.40 along the way. This is my story.
It tells of mistakes, boredom (possibly a leading cause of mistakes in this narrative), and some of the peaks and valleys, both literally and figuratively, of my journey.
I hope to make you laugh, make you think, and help you enjoy a few hours of time curled up on your couch -- glad that YOU'RE not in a hammock on the side of the highway...

Well, I wrote it, so I'm biased. But I will say I enjoyed writing it more than my first book, and two out of three people who have read both have told me they liked this one better.
I really like this book. it was intresting reading about all people the guy came in touch with while hitch hiking. I love the Author`s humor in the book aswell I could not put book down.I would recomend this book to my friends and family.
