I got this book for free in Goodreads first reads. A really cute little love story that most can relate too. The main character seems to ramble on a bit and lost me a few times here and there.

I wanted this to be good, but sadly...
It's terrible. The story is predictable and cliched beyond belief. The narrator thinks he's a good guy, and is clearly meant to be sympathetic, but he comes across across as obnoxious and judgemental, as well as horrible to all women who aren't 'the beautiful Katie' - who, by the way, is not painted as having any depth to her at all. The Tranmere references were fun, but other than that, there's nothing I can say to recommend this book. Also, a proofreading might be in order if Mr Moffatt ever tried to write again. Yours sincerely, a "big nosed sociology student".
