LOVED this book...and honestly, I've lived in this city for nearly 19 years, and I learned lots of things I didn't actually know about the place by reading it! I also loved the vibrant illustrations...and the clever (and sometimes a tad snarky!) little comments from various characters throughout! Lots of fun!

I read this book with my child (7 years old) in Melbourne and had a fantastic time trying to identify things we already see. It gaves us a few ideas for the rest of the visit.

A tour guide with a difference, when you go to Melbourne challenges the young visitor to look a little harder and think about what is there - statues and street art, hundred year old buildings and the regular street layout, iconic food places and the number of bridges. An intriguing book.

Love the colourful illustrations and questions in each page. Would be great for seeing how well students actually know Melbourne.
