Do you enjoy sports books about football players? If you do, you would enjoy the book Robert Griffin III by Will Graves. In this book you learn about Robert Griffin III and the amazing things he has done in his career so far on and of the field.
While you read this book, you will be very interested because of the things Robert Griffin III has done, like speaking to other young black males and females off the field, or scoring a touchdown to top of a win for his team the Washington Redskins. Some of the main people you will be hearing about in this book is Robert Griffin III or (RG3), Roberts family, and Roberts coaches from the different teams he’s played on. The message the author is trying to say during this book is that Roberts career is going good and that he is a very helpful person both on and off the field. Me as a reader can connect to this book because i’m doing good with the sports I play and I have been helpful to kids my age and younger lately.
I enjoyed this book because it was interesting to me simply because of the cool moments in RG3s career the book talks about like how good he did in college and in the NFL. Other readers that might like this book is sports players, coaches, and maybe kids or adults that like Robert as a player. The thing I least about the book was that it didn’t tell the readers much about Robert’s family, like what his dad does to help him with football or how he gave back to his family. The only thing in this book that I think could have changed is how much they didn’t really speak on Robert’s family.
I enjoyed this book a lot, and I would recommend this book to other readers that enjoy sports and different sports players because this book tells you lots about RG3 and you learn about him and the good things he does from this book. Out of 5 i would rate this book a 5 because of the good details and how much I learned just from reading it.

This biography of Robert Griffin III is one of the “Amazing Athletes” series. Simple text describes the life of RGIII from his early years to his so-far brief stint in the NFL. The text emphasizes his determination and hard work in preparing for a professional career and the importance of family in his life. Color photographs and factoids are scattered throughout the book. Glossary words are bolded on the pages. Larger fonts and ample white space make this appropriate for young readers. Back matter includes a timeline, glossary, bibliography, websites and index. Since the shelf life and relevance of these sports biographies are generally short, purchase with prudence.
